Hey everyone, welcome back to Life with the Kuangs!

This is William again, and I’m excited to share another National Park adventure with you. This time, we visited Hot Springs National Park in Arkansas. It’s definitely one of the smaller national parks we’ve been to, but it has some unique characteristics that made the trip worthwhile.

We started our visit with a stop at Bathhouse Row, which also houses the visitor center. This is where you can grab your passport stamp and learn about the history of bathing in Hot Springs. It was fascinating to see how people used to enjoy therapeutic bathhouse sessions back in the day. Instead of the steam rooms we know today, they had individual steam boxes, power jet sprays to massage muscles, and even what looked like a stretching machine. It really showed how much bathhouse therapy has evolved over the years.

For our afternoon activity, we took a tour of the Gangster Museum of America. We learned that gangsters from places like New York used to come to Hot Springs as a neutral, violence-free zone to relax and enjoy the hot springs. It was cool to see exhibits about famous gangsters like Al Capone, who once visited the area.

After that, we decided to grab some dinner. One place we’d recommend is Diablos, a tasty and affordable Mexican restaurant. I usually go for a few tacos, while Fallon enjoys her enchiladas — always a solid choice!

That wrap up the day our day.
